Escrowed prize funds, and what they send to Las Vegas

Most of every weekly team fee sits in escrow and sends local teams to Las Vegas.

Chapter 01

Where does the $65 a week go?

Exactly $40 of every $65 weekly team fee goes to the Player Prize Fund, which is held in the National Escrow Account. The league's mission puts it plainly: prize funds are held in escrow, transparent, and guaranteed.

Projected prize funds are published per division, down to the dollar. Division 01-26 at Breakers Sky Lounge in Herndon shows a projected $23,960, and Division 02-26 at Street Lights shows $8,005. The league operators' line on those graphics is "Transparency in prize funds, because players deserve to know where their money goes."

One footnote is printed alongside them: transaction fees were instituted in July by Venmo, Zelle, and CashApp. Points bought back at $30 per 100 go straight into the division prize fund or the franchise MVP fund.

What does a sponsorship actually cover?

The prize fund exists to sponsor as many local teams and players as possible at the USAPL National Championship. A sponsored national team can receive up to $6,825: $6,000 for travel (that is $750 per player), $625 for entry and $200 for trophies.

Singles players are sponsored too. A sponsored national singles player gets $925: $750 for travel, $150 for entry and $25 for the trophy. The weekly singles series is the route to that package, and its top 16 finishers play a finals for it.

Any eligible team or player who would rather fund the trip themselves can pay their own way. Division Reps get their own deal: $750 toward travel, and they play free once they've repped at least two consecutive sessions in a year.

Chapter 03

What is the trip to Las Vegas like?

The USAPL National Championships run in late February or early March at Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, per the 2026 bylaws. Teams from all over the country play their way in from their home divisions, and Predator Pro Events run alongside, so the pros are playing under the same roof.

The results are real and from this league. Unnecessary Inside, a Virginia team, won the 2024 10-Ball Teams title and held up a $7,000 check. In 2026 Brackish Behavior, a Maryland team, finished as the 10-Ball Teams runners-up.

Questions about a division's fund or how a sponsorship is paid out go to a league operator: Shanna Lewis at 321-604-1192, Prasad Jayaraman at 785-218-4643 or Chris Mitchell at 571-214-0432.

2024 10-Ball Teams champions Unnecessary Inside (VA) and 2026 runners-up Brackish Behavior (MD) both came out of this league.
