Top 16
Weekly singles series
Points every week; the top 16 play a finals for a paid trip to the USAPL Singles National Event.
Chapter 01
A singles series that runs all season through the Facebook group
The singles series is a weekly tournament series, and it runs through the league's Facebook group, DMV - USA Pool League, at facebook.com/dmvpool. Points accumulate week after week, so the standings are built across the series rather than decided on a single night.
It sits alongside the team divisions, which play Monday through Friday and on Sundays in rooms from Fairfax and Arlington to Bowie and Williamsburg. The Facebook group is the place to follow how the series is going.
The weekly venues and days for the singles series aren't listed on this page. For the current schedule, check the Facebook group or call Shanna Lewis at 321-604-1192, Prasad Jayaraman at 785-218-4643 or Chris Mitchell at 571-214-0432.

Top 16 in points, then a 16-person finals
When the series ends, the top 16 players in points qualify for a 16-person finals. Sixteen names make the cut, so every weekly point counts toward getting in.
The prize is a paid trip plus entry to the USAPL Singles National Event, an entry worth $900. The USA Pool League National Championships are held in late February or early March at Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, per the 2026 bylaws, with the Predator Pro Events running alongside. A Virginia team from the league, Unnecessary Inside, won the 2024 10-Ball Teams title there.
Chapter 03
Where the singles money comes from
Singles MVPs are funded from the league's prize fund. That fund is built from the weekly team fees: of every $65 team fee, exactly $40 goes to the Player Prize Fund, held in the National Escrow Account. The prize funds and Nationals page shows how that money is published division by division.
A sponsored National Player (Singles) package totals $925: $750 for travel, $150 for the entry and $25 for the trophy. The league's stated aim is to sponsor as many local players and teams as possible to the National Championship Tournament in Las Vegas.
Anyone eligible can also pay their own way. If you'd rather go to the Singles National Event on your own dime, that option is open too. Your Fargo rating, which the league uses to make matches fair, is covered on the Fargo-rated handicaps page, and any of the three league operators can walk you through where you'd fit.
